More than 100 Volgograd and Volga residents arrived in the morning of October 17 in the Volga-Akhtubinskaya floodplain to participate in the All-Russian action "Plant a forest". Sunny weather only contributed to the enthusiasm of the participants of the ecological flash mob, many of them came to the floodplain with their families. Saplings of oaks and maples were planted not far from the Lebyazhya Polyana farm, next to Erik Rotten. The planted oaks will take over and in a few decades will replace the already aged oaks.

On October 26, in the Volga-Akhtuba floodplain, 2 thousand oak seedlings and 2 thousand maple seedlings were planted to restore the forest affected by the fires. The plantings were organized as part of the PosadiLes forest restoration and conservation project with the support of the Regional Committee for Natural Resources, Forestry and Ecology, the ECA movement and the Lenta company.

On April 13, 2 thousand oak and maple seedlings were planted in the Volga-Akhtubinskaya floodplain to restore the forest that burned down in 2016. The plantings were organized as part of the PosadiLes forest restoration and conservation project with the support of the Regional Committee for Natural Resources, Forestry and Ecology, the ECA movement and the SPLAT company, which compensates for its carbon footprint.



In the Volgograd Region during the fall of 2015, a whole series of tree plantings took place with the support of the PosadiLes service. On October 14, in Krasnoslobodsk, Volgograd Region, activists of the regional branch of "ECA" together with students and teachers of the vocational lyceum. Alexander Nevsky was planted with seedlings of Crimean pine.
