Spring campaign PosadiLes was held in the Chuvash Republic
April 29, 2017 in the Cheboksary Zavolzhye, planting was organized as part of the annual reforestation campaign of the PosadiLes project.
The event involved 250 activists. The protesters planted 40 thousand pines. As a result, the plantings covered an area of 8 hectares.
The head of the Chuvash Republic Mikhail Ignatiev took part in the plantings. The spring action was also supported by members of the Government, deputies of the State Council, members of the Public Chamber of the Chuvash Republic, representatives of environmental organizations, labor collectives, students, volunteers.
We remind you that volunteer ecological actions to restore forests at the sites of fires in the Trans-Volga region within the framework of the PosadiLes project are carried out by the Chuvash regional branch of the ECA Green Movement with the support of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Chuvash Republic. In total, since 2013, volunteers have carried out 9 events and planted 240 thousand pine seedlings.
