Forest landing was held in Lake Kuznetsovsky Forestry on October 8 and 9 as part of the campaign “Planting Forest”, not far from the village of Uglovsky, at the site of a 1997 large forest fire.
For two days, over 100 volunteers from Barnaul and Rubtsovsk took part in the green subbotniks, including representatives of the SEC in the open air, Altai State University, the Institute of Biology and Biotechnology, Riya AltSTU, the organization “Give Forest”, KGBPOU “Rubtsovsky Agrarically -Industrial College ”, Rii AltSTU, public organization“ Our City ”, SPO“ DANKO ”, Rubtsov Medical College, Water“ Mediki Volunteers ”, Rubtsovsky Institute (branch) of AltSU.
The promotion was supported by the ECA and S7 Airlines. Assistance in the event was provided by the Office of the Forests of the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Altai Territory and the regional autonomous institution "Altales".
Forest management allocated a site for the event, and KAU prepared the ground for planting and provided volunteers with a forestry instrument. On this occasion, one of the participants, Ilya Kravilov, composed a verse:
“I did not think until now
That the sword is suitable and not only wars.
We stuck into the ground together we
His guns, without doing it, hurts.
And not one hectare after we have hundreds, we’ll sow thousands
Let the Siberian pine grow grow

The weather inspired the volunteers, as best she could - the air temperature reached +210C. A good mood was a great help in work, to which the participants began with youthful enthusiasm.
As a result of joint work on an area of 8 hectares of unrelerated lands of the Lesnoye Forest Fund of Lake-Kuznetsovsky forestry, 20 thousand seedlings of ordinary pine were planted. Planting material with a closed root system was raised by the employees of the Altai Forest Semenovodskiye Center of the Altales KAU branch.
