September 30, 2023 in the Shipunovsky district of the Altai Territory, 12,000 trees landed
Volunteers dropped 12,000 seedlings of ordinary pine on an area of 6 hectares, laying a new protective forest.
Natalia Schneider, one of the active participants: “After a few years, the entrance to Shipunovo from the federal highway will be one of the most beautiful in the region.”
Volunteers from Barnaul and Shipunovo - 53 people, including Sberbire’s corporate volunteers, residents of neighboring settlements - family from s. Novoselsk and s. Krasnoshchekovo - the guys arrived for 110 km in their car.
All the time the promotions poured rain, everyone was wet, but they worked together and in a good mood!
After a hard day, everyone was waiting for a delicious hot lunch, prepared by local cooks.
When the planted trees get stronger and grow up, they will help to slow down the signing of the territory of the region: they will create a comfortable microclimate, reduce wind power at the level of the squirrel air layer, level the average daily temperature and make the climate as a whole less dry.
Everyone who could not join the landings personally can support the restoration and preservation of forests, as well as subsequent agricultural vehicles - online on the Posadiles.ru website
After the landing season, the service will send photos and GPS coordinates of seedlings.
“Plant the forest” - the crowdfunding platform of the ECA movement to raise funds for forest restoration, operating since 2015. Over the six years, more than 2.5 million trees in 52 regions of Russia were planted for six years.
