The other day in the Vladimir region was snowing. And we planted the forest. Because in such weather seedlings take root better. Checked.
The federal project “Plant the Forest” of the ECA movement again plants forests on Vladimir land. This time in the Vyaznikovsky forestry, volunteers from the Vladimir branch of Sberbank were planted by pines. The Vladimir region met us with snow and not April cold. But this turned out to be not a hindrance: the volunteers resolutely took Kolesov’s swords - special small shoulder blades and seeds of seedlings stood in the future ridges of pines.
The pine trees are small, they have “milk” needles, tender, and the seedlings themselves are similar to green fluffy grass. Volunteers quickly mastered the technique of planting the forest. And quite quickly they began to plant the diverted area. Foresters thanked: they have a lot of work, but the people are not enough. Therefore, quick volunteers are good landlords. And for people who have come from the city, such work has become a pleasant variety in office work.
By dinner, Sberban employees have already planted the entire planned volume - 10,000 pines. It turned out that volunteers can not only work. After lunch and tea from a lingonberry sheet collected here, on a plot, the guys performed the song “Victory Day” in chorus.
After the departure of the volunteers, we went in the clearing. After landing, as part of the project “Plant the Forest”, there are not many garbage, only paper towels. The instruction is strict: the environmental event - only reusable dishes, gloves are collected and erased until the next planting, etc. And this is right. After our landings, a clean meadow and a new forest should remain!
