6,000 planted in the Sverdlovsk regionseedlings supported by Estee Lauder

On September 27, 2020, volunteers planted 6,000 seedlings in the Sverdlovsk Region thanks to Estee Lauder.

September 27, 2020 fromthe planting of trees by volunteers took place. The landing was attended by many youth organizations and associations: the youth government of the Sverdlovsk region, student environmental teams and clubs, members of the youth environmental movement, volunteers, interested residents of Yekaterinburg and Nizhny Tagil, who came to the landing on their own. In total, there were about 41 people at the planting, who planted 6,000 pine and spruce seedlings on the territory of 1.5 hectares.

“For me specifically, this means full-fledged restoration of deforested forests. We all know perfectly well that in Russia a large amount of forest is being cut down illegally, and we are trying to restore it all now, return it to the framework that was originally"- says volunteer Alexander Malyshev.
