10,000 seedlings of ordinary pine were planted in the Toguchinsky district of the Novosibirsk region
As part of the environmental campaign, volunteers of the region were planted by ordinary pine seedlings on an area of 2.2 hectares
The action “Plant the Forest”, aimed at restoring forests and repaying a carbon trace, was held on May 27 on the exit from the city of Toguchin towards the village of Surkovo. The event was organized by the Interregional Ecological Public Organization "ECA" with the support of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Novosibirsk Region, the administration of the Toguchinsky district, the city administration, and Sberbank PJSC.
Thanks to the participation of foreign citizens (a resident of China, a student of the Humanitarian Faculty of Novosibirsk State University Han Chelimuge and a photographer from Argentina Gustavo Raul Velazquez), the event acquired an international character. In total, 325 people participated in the action. On the landings of forest crops, a field kitchen was organized.
“Thanks to everyone who took part in the action! It is pleasant that people find time and come with whole families to plant trees and contribute to the development of nature, its preservation and recreation, ”the head of the Toguchinsky district, Sergei Pykhtin, addressed the action participants.
