On October 22, 2021, in the Zemetchinsky district of the Penza region, an action was held to plant 10 thousand pine seedlings. The event took place thanks to the “Plant a Forest” project and partner PJSC “Sberbank”. 50 corporate volunteers of Sberbank planted pine seedlings on an area of 2 hectares. Forestry staff held a master class before the start of the event on the technology of planting seedlings with Kolesov's sword. Young pines were planted on the territory prepared by foresters. In the future, foresters will take care of the trees. For all participants of the event, the organizers provided transportation to the landing site and back, provided all the necessary equipment. After the end of the event, all the volunteers received delicious lunch and tea. We would like to thank Sberbank PJSC for participating in the carbon footprint compensation program, the Ministry of Forestry and Natural Resources Management of the Penza Region, Yursovskoye Lesnichestvo and personally the director Marina Mikhailovna Shirikova for her help in holding the event.
