On October 17, 20,000 fir trees were planted in the Moshkovsky district of the Novosibirsk region with the support of S7
As part of the "Plant a Forest" project, caring residents of the region and the city of Novosibirsk have planted 20,000 fir trees on an area of 5 hectares in the Beloyarsky forest. 3-year-old seedlings were provided by the Berdsk forestry enterprise. About 100 people took part in the action. People who are not indifferent to nature took part in the "Plant a Forest" campaign with great pleasure. These are employees of the Dubrovinsky forestry enterprise, representatives of a military unit, public and corporate volunteers - representatives of the regional association of Green Universities and socially responsible business, as well as active residents of the city of Novosibirsk and the Moshkovsky district.
The Minister of Natural Resources and Environment of the NSO Andrey Danilenko took part in planting the forest. He stressed that over the past two years, all measures have been taken to strengthen the forces and means of forest protection on the ground, but the support of volunteers and the participation of citizens in actions to restore the green fund of the region is very important.
“This is a landmark event for the region. Our nature has united everyone - both military and civilians, both urban and rural. People even came with children. I am very grateful to everyone who devoted their day off to planting forests. Good deeds of people were blessed by good weather, which is extremely rare for mid-October "
