On October 16, 2021, 10,000 trees were planted in the Voronezh Region with the support of SBER
On Saturday, October 16, Voronezh hosted the second this year's campaign of the "Plant a Forest" project. Participants of the ECA Green Movement, together with Sberbank, planted 10,000 pine seedlings at the Kozhevenny Cordon.
In 2010, fires destroyed almost 20,000 hectares of forest in the Voronezh region. And recently, in August 2021, a large area of forest plantations was damaged as a result of a fire at the Kozhevenny Cordon. Caring residents of the city, together with the Forestry Department, have been engaged in the restoration of the green belt of Voronezh for several years. We thank the volunteers who took part in the action for their responsibility, good mood and hard work. Thanks to Sberbank for regular participation in the restoration of forests in the Voronezh region. Special thanks to the Levoberezhnoe forestry for assistance in planting, delivery of equipment and seedlings. Thanks to the Department of Ecology and Forestry for supporting the forest planting initiative in the region. Together, we can restore and improve our common home!
