On May 15, 1 km south of the village of Klyuchi, Sosnovsky District of the Chelyabinsk Region, an action was held to plant 5,000 pines.
Young trees were planted on the site of a pine forest affected by a forest fire.
The planting was organized within the framework of the Planti Les project with the support of the Main Department of Forests of the Chelyabinsk Region and the Kremenkul district forestry.
“I would like to express my gratitude to all the volunteers who joined the planting in spite of the abnormal heat prevailing in our region, as well as to the foresters of the Kremenkul district forestry, under whose careful supervision this action took place,” said Damir, the coordinator of the “Plant a forest” project in the Chelyabinsk region Yanakh.
The planting area was specially prepared by the staff of the local forestry, who will carry out the subsequent care of the seedlings.
