10 thousand pines were planted to restore the forest near Novosibirsk

Planting took place on the territory of the Kolyvansky forestry with an area of ​​2 hectares (29 km of the Novosibirsk-Omsk highway, Northern detour). Pine seedlings were grown in the nursery of the Kuibyshev forestry enterprise. The planting area was specially prepared by the forestry staff, who will carry out the subsequent care of the seedlings.

60 volunteers took part in the planting. Among them are activists of the ECA Movement, members of the regional council of corporate volunteering of the Novosibirsk region, students, schoolchildren, representatives of regional authorities and business. It was important to carry out the ecological measures competently, therefore, Viktor Vasilyevich Nishcheta, an honorary worker of forestry, director of LLC Giprostroytrans-3, gave instructions on planting for all those present. And Larisa Gennadievna Serova, consultant on public relations and environmental education of the ministry, reminded: it is necessary not only to plant the pines correctly, but also to convey to them your love and care so that the trees grow strong.

“The two main components of forest plantations are seedlings and Kolesov's sword. A narrow steel shovel for planting seedlings and seedlings of forest crops is a unique tool invented back in 1883 by the director of the Kharkov Agricultural School Alexander Andreevich Kolesov for planting pine seedlings on sandy soils.
