On October 7, 2023, the volunteers “Plant the Forest” returned to the Vichuga of the Ivanovo region. Last year, the employees of the Ivanovsky Sberbank, local residents and high school students from South Planted here ate. This time they checked them and supplemented with new seedlings.
Schoolchildren from Southja were pleased to continue the work that had begun a year ago and came to the agricultural department. The guys invited friends and proudly showed beginners where they were planted.
Together, the agricultural participants went around the site with small Christmas trees. Going along an uneven area overgrown over the year, covered with wet grass, is not easy. But the gathered systematically passed the furrow behind the groove, planting new Christmas trees in return for the dead.
To recognize the area by the forest, it is necessary that 6 years after planting take root and grow up to 50% of the trees. Therefore, it is important to maintain the necessary density and monitor survival. The guys coped: 3,500 Christmas trees filled annual losses.
For lunch, the guys brought reusable dishes. Participants of last year’s landing, they remembered that small healthy eco, for example, reusable dishes instead of disposable, help to protect the planet’s resources and maintain nature and the growing forest clean.
