In October 2023, the Planting Forest project returned to the Kaluga region to conduct agricultural lifting for two pine forest hectares in Iznoskovsky forestry. He was planted in the spring.
The seedlings had a hard time in hot summer. The coordinators suggested that a significant part would die, and an annoyance may be required.
However, in September, rains were charged, the fall was favorable and life -giving for young trees. During the next inspection of the area, the foresters noted that the pines took root well, rain greatly refreshed them.
Although along with the rains, grass that interferes with pine trees went to growth. To consolidate the success and support of the future pine forest, agricultural vehicles were replaced by extinguishing with dandy.
The tractor could not pass here - the grass cover demanded handmade. The masters carefully walked around every small tree with a trimmer.
As a result, the survival rate of pines on the site was 70%. Winter ahead, after which “Plant the Forest” will return again for agricultural care.
