On August 10, in the Verkhneuralsky forestry of the Chelyabinsk region, the ECA volunteers conducted the agricultural vehicle for trees, which were planted in April 2022.
On an area of 1.5 hectares in a mechanized way (using a tractor), weeds were removed, which drowned young pines. The weeding was careful not to damage the trees. Their survival rate was 90%, this is a very good indicator.
Agricultural measures, within the framework of the “Plant Les” campaign, create the best conditions for survival and growth to trees so that new forest plantations can become an important part of the ecosystem and maintain the nature of the Chelyabinsk region.
