On September 28, 16 thousand pine seedlings were planted in the vicinity of the village of Dyldino, Orekhovo-Zuevsky district of the Moscow region, to restore the forest that burned down in 2010. Planting was organized as part of a forest restoration and conservation project "Plant the Forest" with the support of the Forestry Committee of the Moscow Region, GAU MO “Tsentrleskhoz”, GKU MO “Mosoblles” and the ECA movement.
Planting took place on an area of 4 hectares, more than 60 activists took part in them, among them - volunteers from Moscow and the Moscow region. The planting area has been specially prepared by forestry specialists who will take care of the seedlings afterwards.

Сегодня благодаря проекту "Plant the Forest" уже высажено более 698 500 деревьев в 22 регионах России. В народном финансировании посадок приняли участие 4953 человек, благодаря их поддержке было восстановлено более 175 га леса. Среди компаний, которые поддержали посадки, – Лента, СПЛАТ, S7, МТС, Фаберлик, Эльдорадо, Тануки, Европлан, Starbucks, Estee Lauder , МКБ( Московский кредитный банк), Сбербанк страхование и другие.
