On October 31, 2022, an action was held in the Kurgan region to land 10,000 pine and birch seedlings with the support of the Audemars Piguet Foundation
On October 31, at the initiative of the green movement of the ECA in the Kurgan region in the territory of the village. Gladkovskoye Protobolny district took place for the landing of trees as part of the project "Southern Forest Belt of Russia". On an area of 5 hectares, 10,000 trees were planted (birch, pine).
This is the second landing at s. Gladkovskoye this year. Gladkovka, as the village is called by local residents, is only 7 km. From the border with Kazakhstan. There are very few forests here and therefore the square is blown through and through the winds from the Kazakh steppe. In the summer there are dry -haired ones, and in winter everything is brought in snow. The protective forest strip 30 meters wide will close the village from the north side and, together with the first landing, completely closes the protective ring around the village.
The action was attended by more than 35 volunteers from the tributary district. These were employees of the administration of the Protobol region and K/X Ivanov and K.
The weather conditions were harsh, but all participants showed activity and work on planting trees was completed. A memorable information full house was placed at the landing site.
