April 29, 2023 in the Smolensk region landed 10,000 trees with the support of Sberbank PJSC
On April 29, an action was held for landing 10 thousand trees in the Krasninsky district as part of the spring action of the All -Russian project “Planting Forest”.
Employees of the Forestry Service of the Smolensk region, Sberbian employees and ordinary caring townspeople planted seedlings of European and restored almost three hectares. 50 people took part in the landing. The promotion is carried out thanks to public financing and support of a responsible business. Everyone could join the landing as volunteers. Regional organizers provided volunteers with transportation to the place of landing and vice versa, food, and also provided all the necessary equipment. Specialists of the forestry service of the Smolensk region held a master class before the event. Young trees were planted in specially trained territories.
In the future, subsequent care of the seedlings will be carried out. “We are not accidentally selected for landings. Usually these are territories after fires, sanitary cuts, after infection of the forest with insect pests. This spring, the place of our landing was chosen Krasninsky district. Here, a few years ago, a sanitary cabin of trees occurred, affected by pests and winds, ”the organizers of the action noted.
