June 1, 2022 in the Kaluga Region, a rally was held for a landing of 4150 pine seedlings with the support of Posadiles.ru service users
The project “Plant the Forest” of the Ecological Movement of the ECA gathered under Kaluga people who sincerely love their land. Next to the village of Horsema, the Iznoskovsky district, volunteers planted a new pine forest.
We have been waiting for this landing for a long time. Livne rains almost “washed away” hope, but the sun came out and we arrived at the place of landing. It was not easy to get here: the road was blurred, the earth did not dry. However, the eyes are afraid, but the hands are done. Foresters conducted briefing - showed how tiny seedlings to plant in the ground, all took the inventory and the work began.
We are all different, but how nice it was to hear from the son-volunteer the words said by the Father-Lesnich: “Now I know how hard your work is!”
We carefully found a place for every pine tree. From the heat, sensations- like in a bath, mosquitoes are pestering. But neither foresters, nor local residents, nor volunteers retreated. Thousands of pines are now living under the Kaluga Sun and we believe that in a few years this land will be officially recognized as a pine forest.
We say sincere thanks to everything thanks to whom this landing took place! Of course, these people are heroes. Special thanks - to the Ministry of Forestry of the Kaluga Region, Iznoskinsky forestry, the administration of the Iznoskinsky district, the Khvoshchinsky rural settlement and the community “This Kaluga” for the help of the organization of this event.
